   Local Action for Rural Communities (LARC) Schemes

There are three Local Action Schemes in Somerset - Levels and Moors area, the Western Somerset area and Making It Local which covers the Blackdown Hills.

The LARC investment programme is now open and looking for Expressions of Interest from communities, partnerships and businesses who have a project that they feel will help to deliver the priorities for their area.

Welcome to Somerset Rural Renaissance

Somerset Rural Renaissance was an investment programme to help re-vitalise the rural economy in Somerset. The Programme ran from early 2005 until March 31st 2009. Funds were provided by the South West of England Regional Development Agency and allocated by the Somerset Rural Renaissance Partnership.

The Somerset Rural Renaissance programme is now closed.
