 Helping the Community.
In early 2007 the Rural Renaissance Partnership was pleased to receive an additional contract from the South West Regional Development Agency to deliver further investments that brought about improved access to existing services, or helped provide new services in villages and communities.
In addition Somerset Rural Renaissance has managed a range of community based projects and the results have been positive for the community and those who live, work and play there.

 Keeping Ahead
Funds have enabled the Somerset Rural Youth Project to provide two major projects to specifically benefit young people in rural areas. We’ve also helped projects in West Somerset and assisted transport and website projects.

 Rural Support.
The food and drink sector is one of the key employment areas in Somerset and there have been a range of projects. From Food Sector and Business Support to AONB Foodpaths and the Wellington Food Town - these are just a few of the projects we have seen succeed.
