PROJECT SUMMARY

To provide training, support and guidance to social enterprise projects in order to bring about robust and quality projects that can deliver Rural Renaissance objectives and the objectives of Somerset rural communities.

ABOUT THE PROJECT

Somerset Social Enterprise Support provides generic advice and support to projects, Business Planning training and access to additional experts where appropriate. Projects get improved development plans through appropriate advice which leads to more robust projects, better financial management and increased skills levels in staff. Through Rural Renaissance funding, Somerset Social Enterprise Support aims to have more robust community enterprise models in place by March 2008.
